About Mardi Himal Trek
Mardi Himal Trekking is a relatively new trekking route in Annapurna region opened since 2012. Mardi Himal trekking route is located towards the east of the Modi Khola across the valley from Hiunchuli. The Mardi Himal Trek is an ideal choice for those who are looking for an ‘off the beaten path' trekking experience in the quieter region of the Annapurna region in Nepal. The trek takes you to the least visited area of the Annapurna region offering the unspoiled beauty away from trekkers madding crowd. The trails have one of the best cultural and natural heritage to offers to the visitors.
The region is rich in biodiversity and wildlife. The trail crosses cool rivers, lush green valleys, terraced farms, and warm, pristine Juniper and Rhododendron forests and beautiful, quaint and traditional villages. We could get the chance to catch the glimpse of Danphe, Himalayan Thar, Musk deer, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, and snow leopard if got lucky.
