Visit Nepal Year 2020

Nepal is going to launch an ambitious tourism campaign ‘Visit Nepal Year 2020’ with a theme of “Lifetime Experience” hoping to unlock the Tourism potential of Nepal. Nepali tourism has been at its lowest after the devastating earthquake of 2015 and its aftershocks which took the lives of many people and destroyed the property beyond imagination. Many tourists who were in Nepal left the country and many others cancelled their bookings causing a severe financial blow to the national economy.

However, things have now been changing and overcoming from the impact of the earthquake and Nepali Tourism has shown obvious signs of growth and development. The government of Nepal is working rigorously to ensure a successful tourism 2020 Travel Goals. The government plans to welcome 2 million international tourists by the end of 2020 in Nepal as the tourism sector play a vital role in boosting the national economy. However, it is very obvious that Nepal can pull a large number of tourists as the country has much more to offer than just backpacking. From luxury jungle safari, rafting in thundering Swift River, Heli tour close to the snowcapped Himalayas to private treks in the Himalayas, there are much more thing to do and see in Nepal which can make your holiday in Nepal adventurous to rejuvenating and sensational.

The government of Nepal has specified 100 Destinations for the tourism year promotion in the year 2020 which include destinations from all over Nepal. These destinations will be well equipped with transportation, logistics and other basic fundamental keeping in mind the comfort of travellers.
